Today, our spotlight focuses in on the show's leading lady, the luminously beautiful Marissa McGowan, the actress who plays Stella Purdy, the love interest of the musical's repressed and shy Professor Julius Kelp and his suave and sophisticated doppelganger Buddy Love. During a media look-in at the company's rehearsals, McGowan knocked the socks off of all those cynical folk, delivering a beautiful rendition of a new Hamlisch-penned power ballad that we're likely to hear for years to come.

Roundabout Theatre Company has just announced the full cast for the new Broadway production of Rupert Holmes' Tony Award® winning musical comedy The Mystery of Edwin Drood. Block (Edwin Drood), Will Chase (John Jasper), Gregg Edelman (Reverend Mr. Crisparkle), Jim Norton (Chairman) and Chita Rivera (Princess Puffer) with Andy Karl (Neville Landless), Jessie Mueller (Helena Landless), Betsy Wolfe (Rosa Bud), Nicholas Barasch (Deputy), Peter Benson (Bazzard), Robert Creighton (Durdles), Alison Cimmet, Nick Corley, Janine DiVita, Jenifer Foote, Justin Greer, Shannon Lewis, Spencer Plachy, Kiira Schmidt, Eric Sciotto, Jim Walton, Cody Williams.

BONNIE & CLYDE will record the official cast album on January 2, 2012. The album producers are Frank Wildhorn, John McDaniel and David Lai. It will be Executive Produced by Van Dean, along with Corey Brunish, Howard Kagan and Terry Schnuck.

Now, a press release from the production has been posted on Broadway's Best Shows noting that producers have now officially announced that the show will play its final performance on December 30th at 8pm, following 69 performances.

Now, Group Sales promo emails for the show indicate there as well that the show will play its final performance on Broadway on December 30th. The press office for the show currently has no comment or announcement on the ticket sales or the show's future.

BONNIE & CLYDE opened on Thursday, December 1, at the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre. As of today, it appears the producers have taken tickets off sale through Telecharge.com past December 30, 2011. (Telecharge.com is selling for the show through this date, however). No official announcement as to why the production has pulled tickets past the 30th has been made.
