Jaap van Zweden to Lead New York Philharmonic in Mozart's Piano Concerto No. 23, 10/29-31

Jaap van Zweden will return to the New York Philharmonic to conduct Mozart's Piano Concerto No. 23, with Artist-in-Association Inon Barnatan as soloist; Britten's Sinfonia da Requiem; and Beethoven's Symphony No. 5. The performances take place Thursday, October 29, 2015, at 7:30 p.m.; Friday, October 30 at 2:00 p.m.; and Saturday, October 31 at 8:00 p.m. 

Orchestra of St. Luke's Hosts 40th Anniversary Gala

Orchestra of St. Luke's (OSL) raised $800,000 at its 40th Anniversary Gift of Music gala, held at The Plaza Hotel on April 20th. Funds raised at the gala benefit OSL's artistic and Community & Education programs, as well as The DiMenna Center for Classical Music, New York City's first and only space dedicated to classical music rehearsal, recording, and education.

Orchestra of St. Luke's to Close 40th Season with Beethoven's Fifth at Carnegie Hall

One of the greatest works in the classical canon, Beethoven's Symphony No. 5, will conclude Orchestra of St. Luke's 40th Anniversary season at Carnegie Hall. OSL Principal Conductor Pablo Heras-Casado, praised in the Financial Times for his 'keen command of stylistic definition as well as expressive logic' following OSL's October concert, returns for what promises to be an exceptionally thrilling performance of this repertoire staple. 'Pablo will bring new levels of charisma and energy,' anticipates OSL flutist Elizabeth Mann.

Sheldon Best Among 2015 Martin E. Segal Award Winners; Audra McDonald Hosts Tonight's Gala

The recipients of the 2015 Martin E. Segal Awards, this year, expanded to encompass nominees from all of Lincoln Center's resident organizations, were announced today by Lincoln Center President Jed Bernstein. The awards will be presented at a special gala evening on the Adrienne Arsht Stage of Alice Tully Hall tonight, March 2. The Martin E. Segal Awards were established in 1986 when the late philanthropist and arts leader retired as Lincoln Center Chairman.

Bravo! Vail Sets 2015 Season, Featuring NY Phil & More!

Bravo! Vail has announced its 28th Season will take place from July 1st to August 6th, 2015. The Dallas Symphony Orchestra, The Philadelphia Orchestra, and the New York Philharmonic will return to Bravo! Vail, and will collaborate with some of the world's most sought-after soloists. Additionally, the season will feature chamber artists in concert throughout the Vail Valley.

Artist-in-Association Inon Barnatan Will Make NY Philharmonic Debut Next Month

Music Director Alan Gilbert will lead the New York Philharmonic in Ravel's Piano Concerto in G major, with Philharmonic Artist-in-Association Inon Barnatan in his Philharmonic debut, in a program that also includes Esa-Pekka Salonen's Nyx, Debussy's Jeux, and R. Strauss's Der Rosenkavalier Suite, Thursday, March 19, 2015, at 7:30 p.m.; Friday, March 20 at 11:00 a.m.; Tuesday, March 24 at 7:30 p.m.
