MCC Theater (Robert LuPone, Bernard Telsey, Artistic Directors; William Cantler, Associate Artistic Director; Blake West, Executive Director) announced today that Playwright-in-Residence Neil LaBute's three special benefit staged readings of his previously unseen ‘shorts' series, Filthy Talk for Troubled Times: Scenes of Intolerance, will feature actors Alice Eve, Justin Long and T.R. Knight, with additional cast members to be announced shortly. The readings will take place on Thursday, June 3, Friday, June 4 and Saturday, June 5, 2010, 7:00 p.m., at the Lucille Lortel Theatre (121 Christopher Street, NYC). Proceeds will benefit MCC Theater's Playwrights' Coalition program, free PlayLab reading series, and literary development activities.

Practical Cats Theatre, in association with 78th Street Theatre Lab, presents the world premiere of Hannah and the Hollow Challah - a new comedy for family audiences about a young girl's wild escapades with human and 'doughy' characters in the magical world of Bread Land - begins its limited four-week engagement on March 15, prior to its official press opening March 16, at the 78th Street Theatre Lab (236 West 78th Street) in Manhattan. Rock 'n'n Roll playwright Tom Stoppard will appear on 'Theater Talk' tonight Friday, February 8 at 1AM. 'Theater Talk' airs locally on Thirteen/WNET and CUNY-TV.

Rock 'n' Roll star Rufus Sewell will be interviewed on NY-1's 'On Stage' by Patrick Pacheco in a segment that will air Saturday, February 2nd and Sunday, February 3rd at 9:30 AM and 7:30 PM, and Monday, February 4th (early Tuesday) at 12:30 AM.
