CAT Theatre continues its 50th Anniversary Season with Enchanted April which runs from March 21 thru April 5, 2014. Enchanted April was chosen by CAT patrons as the show they would most like to see repeated from CAT's 50-year history. 'The Enchanted April' was written by Elizabeth von Arnim and the novel was adapted to the stage by Kane Campbell. The 1991 film version featured Miranda Richardson, Alfred Molina and Joan Plowright.

Stageworks Media just launched the LIVE FROM GRAMERCY PARK cabaret series at The Players Club (16 Gramercy Park South). The series kicked-off last night, January 27th, 2014 with Tony nominee Euan Morton, backed by Grandpa Musselman & His Syncopators. Mr. Morton and the six-piece jazz ensemble performed a repertoire of turn of the century ragtime, 1920?s jazz and depression-era swing by composers such as Scott Joplin, Jelly Roll Morton and Duke Ellington. Broadway favorite Jonathan Groff, who leads HBO's upcoming 'Looking' series,is featured on the cover of this month's OUT Magazine. He shared on filming in San Francisco: "It was the last port of call for all the guys in the Navy, and the ones who were gay just stayed there because they didn't want to go back to their lives. The street where I was staying smelled like jasmine. I rode my bike every day to set. I was in heaven."

As Robert Powell (Jesus of Nazareth, The Detectives) opens a UK wide tour of the official Agatha Christie Theatre Company's 9th production, Black Coffee in Windsor photographed Robert as Poirot alongside co-stars Liza Goddard (as Miss Caroline Amory) and Robin McCallum as Poirot's friend and confidante (Captain Arthur Hastings, OBE). The cast appeared in full costume both outside - underneath the building's iconic blue plaque - and upstairs in the quaint writing room she had specially commissioned as part of the house's refurbishment.
