The 2014 New York Musical Theatre Festival (NYMF) today announced the Next Link Project musical selections. The 10 musicals were announced as part of the 11th edition of the Festival, which will take place from July 7 to July 27 at locations around midtown Manhattan in New York City, including The Pershing Square Signature Center (480 West 42nd Street).

EMG Collective/Singers Forum presents two separate shows of SHOWSTOPPERS: UPTUNE & A BALLAD on Feb. 3 and 10 at 7 p.m. at the Laurie Beechman Theatre. Not all performers appear on both nights.

This February and March at 54 BELOW presents an exciting lineup of the brightest talent from Broadway and beyond, including Christopher Sieber, Annaleigh Ashford, Randy Graff, Melinda Doolittle, Jeff Daniels, Linda Eder, Andrea McArdle, Sondheim Unplugged, Taboo: 10th Anniversary Reunion Concert, Beth Leavel, Lindsay Mendez and Derek Klena.

Coming up this week, 54 BELOW, the performance venue located just below the legendary Studio 54 at 254 West 54th Street, presents some of the brightest stars from Broadway, cabaret, jazz and beyond. 54 Below also launched its series of late night events. After taking 54 Below by storm earlier this year, and following sold-out shows in Australia last month, Alexis Fishman has been invited back to perform at 54 Below (254 W. 54th Street) for one night only, August 26th, 2013 at 7:00pm.

Eight finalists have been chosen to compete in the grand finale of the 7th Annual NYMF Next Broadway Sensation (NBS) competition on October 12th at 11pm at New World Stages. Over 200 people auditioned for NYMF's Next Broadway Sensation.

Alexis Fishman is the creator and star of the solo show Der Gelbe Stern, co-written by James Millar. Der Gelbe Stern made its debut at the Adelaide Cabaret Festival in 2011, followed by seasons at the Melbourne Cabaret Festival and a sold out season at The Reginald at the Seymour Centre in Sydney. New York credits include 'The Hatpin' for the New York Musical Theatre Festival (NYMF), 'Secret of Our Souls' (Minetta Lane Theatre/FringeNYC), 'Artists Rising' (Theatre Row), 'And no one knows what you're about…' (Love Creek Productions) and 'Faultlines' (Ruffled Feathers)
