After taking 54 Below by storm earlier this year, and following sold-out shows in Australia last month, Alexis Fishman has been invited back to perform at 54 Below (254 W. 54th Street) for one night only, August 26th, 2013 at 7:00pm.

Dubbed "A Star in the Making" by Australia's Herald Sun newspaper before packing her bags and heading to New York City, Alexis Fishman once again attracted attention after being named the New York Musical Theatre Festival's 2012 Next Broadway Sensation. Her New York theater debut was, at NYMF, in the lead role of Amber Murray in the musical, The Hatpin.

With musical director Darren R. Cohen (A Chorus Line, Chicago), Alexis will perform an eclectic mix of material including Broadway favorites, Amy Winehouse, Annie Ross, never-before-heard songs from young theatre composers and some fun on the Ukulele.

After graduating from the West Australian Academy of Performing Arts (Hugh Jackman's Alma Mater), Alexis debuted as Mary O'Brien in the smash-hit Australian musical Dusty about the life of Dusty Springfield, earning herself a Helpmann Nomination (Australia's Tony). She went on to perform the roles of Lil in Troupers for the Sydney Theatre Company, Little Sally in Urinetown, Alice in Closer, Marianne in the Australian national tour of Shout!: The Johnny O'Keefe Story and the titular role in the Sydney Theatre Award-nominated Australian premiere of Kiss of the Spiderwoman. Alexis's one-woman show set in Weimar Berlin, Der Gelbe Stern, premiered at the Adelaide Cabaret Festival in 2011, followed by sold-out runs in Sydney and Melbourne.
