The Musical is the unauthorized parody of The Silence of the Lambs, with book by Hunter Bell, music & lyrics by Jon and Al Kaplan, and direction & choreography by Tony Award winner Christopher Gattelli. After opening at Theatre 80 on July 9, 2011 to unanimous rave reviews, the show immediately became a sold-out phenomenon and was selected by Time Magazine as one of the year's Top 5 Musicals.

Today, November 4, 2012, a troupe of Broadway's most promising young performers will stage an evening of song and dance at St. Luke's Theatre, 308 West 46th Street, New York City. Lee Godburn, an artist and a producer, and Mamma Mia! cast member Sharone Sayegh are producing the event.
Speaking on behalf of the producers of the new musical BARE, Paul Boskind, who is organizing the series, is proud to announce that the show will host post-performance TalkOUTs throughout the run of the show. Beginning with the first preview, audiences at select performances will be invited to stay after the show to participate in a discussion with some of the foremost leaders in the fight for LGBT equality. These special guests will include Judy Shepard (Matthew Shepard Foundation), The Clementi Family (Tyler Clementi Foundation), Chuck Wolfe (The Gay & Lesbian Victory Fund), Hudson Taylor (Athlete Ally), Mitchell Gold (Faith in America), Travis Wall (choreographer of BARE, "So You Think You Can Dance") and cast members of BARE.
