New ROMEO & JULIET Rock Musical to Open in July at Prospect Theatre

Hollywood's newest venue, Prospect Theatre, will revive Hollywood with an avant-garde take on theatre, music and fine-dining. ABC's "The Fosters" Creator Bradley Bredeweg will premier his dynamic rock musical, "Romeo & Juliet: Love is a Battlefield Volume 2" and Executive Chef Kyle Schutte will kick-off opening weekend on Friday, July 8, and Saturday, July 9 at 8 p.m. at 1643 Cosmo St.

SID to Transfer to Above the Arts Theatre

Leon Fleming's punk-rock one-man play about hero worship transfers into London's West End after a UK tour, starring Dario Coates (Coronation Street, ITV; Another Country, Chichester Festival Theatre & Trafalgar Studios West End) and directed by Scott Le Crass (Cancel the Sunshine, The Hope Theatre). The production will play September 19th - October 8th 2016 at Above the Arts Theatre. Press Night: September 20th 2016, 10pm.

Once: The Musical brings a taste of Ireland to Nashville this week as the national tour makes a stop at Tennessee Performing Arts Center. Once: The Musical, based on the 2006 indie film, is set in Dublin and centers on two characters known only as Guy and Girl. Their story is as much about the love and power of music as it is about the love between the two characters themselves. The movie's most famous song, 'Falling Slowly' won the 2007 Academy Award for Best Original Song and the Broadway production of Once: The Musical swept the Tony Awards in 2012, receiving 11 Tony nominations and winning 8 Tony Awards including the crown jewel, Best Musical.
