English version by Emily Mann and conceived and directed by Ivo van Hove, SCENES FROM A MARRIAGE begins previews on Friday, September 12, 2014 and officially opens on Monday, September 22, 2014 at New York Theatre Workshop (79 E. 4th Street New York, NY 10003) for a limited engagement through Sunday, October 26, 2014.
Sundance Institute today announced the acting company and creative advisors that are participating in its 2014 Theatre Lab, which is now taking place and runs through July 27 at the Sundance Resort in Utah. Director Brian Kulick sets Classic Stage Company's interesting and spirited new production of Bertolt Brecht's The Caucasian Chalk Circle during the fall of the Soviet Union, 'when the hammer and sickle were replaced by the Coca-Cola bottle.' The production's Playbill cover depicts a satisfied looking Christopher Lloyd scribbling over that iconic communist emblem with a piece of chalk. This is certainly an unusual take for a play that, when it premiered in 1948, was intended to depict the fairness to be found in Soviet leadership.

With standing ovation audiences and fewer than 100 seats left to sell in the originally scheduled five-week run of No Man's Land, Artists Rep will extend with another week of performances. Extension dates and times are Tuesday, Nov. 8 at 7:30pm; Thursday, Nov. 10 at 7:30pm; Friday, Nov. 11 at 7:30pm; Saturday, Nov. 12 at 7:30pm and a 2pm matinee. There is no performance on Wednesday, Nov. 9.
