Pennington Players to Present THE DIARY OF ANNE FRANK

?The Pennington Players are bringing the classic play, The Diary of Anne Frank, to the stage of Kelsey Theatre. Performances are March 11, 12, 18, 19, 2016 at 8:00 pm and March 13 & 20, 2016, at 2:00 pm. Kelsey Theatre is located on the Mercer County Community College West Windsor Campus, 1200 Old Trenton Road. A reception with the cast and crew follows the opening night performance on March 11. There will be a special talk back session with the cast and crew held after the 8 pm performance on Friday, March 18.
Palo Alto Players Sets 2016-17 Season

Palo Alto Players, the Peninsula's first theatre company, announces its 86th season - 'From Stage to Screen and Back Again' - featuring a collection of plays and musicals whose time-honored stories have been theatrical hits both on stage and in film. The 2016-17 line-up, beginning September 2016, was unveiled Saturday, January 30 by Artistic Director Patrick Klein and Managing Director Diana Lynn Berenstein at the company's annual Season Announcement Party and includes Disney's THE LITTLE MERMAID; THE DIARY OF ANNE FRANK; A DAY IN HOLLYWOOD, A NIGHT IN THE UKRAINE; Monty Python's SPAMALOT and THE GRADUATE. All performances are held at the Lucie Stern Theater located at 1305 Middlefield Road in Palo Alto. Subscriptions are on sale now online at www.paplayers.org or by phone at 650.329.0891. Individual tickets for the September show go on sale in August and for the remaining season beginning in October.

Kansas City Repertory Theatre's Artistic Director Eric Rosen is pleased to announce the cast of The Diary of Anne Frank, directed by Marissa Wolf, KC Rep's Director of New Works. The play, based upon Anne Frank: The Diary of a Young Girl, was originally written for the stage by Frances Goodrich and Albert Hackett. In 1997, Wendy Kesselman published a revised version of Goodrich and Hackett's Pulitzer Prize winning script, which integrated some of the more personal aspects of Anne Frank's story that remained untold in the original script.

Professional actor Jeremy Kendall stars in the hilariously touching one-man tour-de-force THIS WONDERFUL LIFE, a stage adaptation of the iconic holiday film 'It's A Wonderful Life' by Steve Murray, at the Ware Center on Thursday and Friday, December 10-11, at 7:30 p.m. both nights. Directed by Dan Deal, the play brings to life over 32 familiar people in an amazing display of physical and verbal virtuosity. Kendall portrays the Jimmy Stewart-inspired George Bailey and the whole cast of loveable characters from Bedford Falls, including Clarence the Angel, Mary, Zuzu and all of the townsfolk who rely on him to save them from the greedy Mr. Potter.
