New York Gilbert & Sullivan Players present FAMILY OVERTURE SERIES- Where Kids Learn The Stories of Gilbert & Sullivan

New York Gilbert & Sullivan Players will offer a special FREE 'Kids' Night' event - for children 12 years and under - on Tuesday, January 12th (7PM) for their spectacular production of H.M.S. Pinafore at New York's historic City Center (West 55th Street - between 6th & 7th Avenues).

Kids of all ages will get a chance to witness firsthand the amazing stories of Gilbert & Sullivan when America's foremost G & S repertory ensemble, the New York Gilbert & Sullivan Players, presents its 35th Anniversary season, which will feature fully-staged productions of H.M.S. Pinafore, The Mikado, The Pirates of Penzance, and an all-new production of Ruddigore (January 8th-17th) on the great stage of New York's historic City Center (West 55th Street, between 6th and 7th Avenues).

America's foremost Gilbert & Sullivan repertory ensemble, the New York Gilbert & Sullivan Players, brings back the tradition of G & S New Year's Eve fun at Peter Norton Symphony Space (2535 Broadway at 95th Street) , Thursday, December 31st at 8PM.

G & S Fest 2010 is scheduled to play January 8th through the 17th and the new production of Ruddigore will play January 14th -17th at New York's historic City Center (West 55th Street, between 6th and 7th Avenues).

The singular images of master illustrator Edward Gorey will inspire the New York Gilbert and Sullivan Players' City Center season this January as they mount a new production of the rarely produced G&S classic Ruddigore, a supernatural opera with a Harry Potterish plot, to be performed in rotation with the big three all-time G&S favorites: The Pirates of Penzance, H.M.S. Pinafore and The Mikado.
