Dates, Guidelines Announced for 2012 Yale Institute for Music Theatre

The Yale Institute For Music Theater (Mark Brokaw, Artistic Director) will select up to three original music theatre works to be developed in an intensive lab setting in New Haven June 4-17, 2012. Submissions will be accepted December 15, 2011, through February 1, 2012.

INTAR Extends Intringulis for Third Time Thru 11/13

'Moses, My Love,' a romantic musical of the Exodus story by veteran composer/playwright Paul Dick, will be presented October 14 to 30, 2011 by Passajj Productions at Roy Arias Theatres, 300 W 43rd Street, Manhattan, directed by Marlene Thorn Taber.

GL Theater Kicks Off 50th With CABARET & THE TAMING OF THE SHREW

Hartford Stage Announces THE TEMPEST to Close 48th Season

Shakespeare's final play, The Tempest, will be the final MainStage production of Hartford Stage's 48th season. The selection is the first by Hartford Stage's new Artistic Director, Darko Tresnjak, who partners with Managing Director Mike Stotts to lead the Tony Award-winning theatre. Tresnjak will direct the production, which will run at Hartford Stage May 10 - June 3, 2012; it will be his 21st professional Shakespeare production.
