Woolly Mammoth Theatre Company is proud to start its 32nd Season with the announcement of an important evolution of the theatre's Company, a group of core actors formed originally in 1986. In addition to actors, the Company will now include, for the first time, a number of playwrights, directors, and designers.

INTAR (Lou Moreno, Artistic Director/John McCormack, Executive Director) will present Intringulis, (n. a complex web, an ulterior motive), a new play written and performed by Carlo Albán, directed by David Anzuelo, beginning performances Off-Broadway Friday September 23rd, and continuing through October 16th only, at INTAR's theater space (500 West 52nd Street, at Tenth Avenue, on the 4th Floor).

'Moses, My Love,' a romantic musical of the Exodus story by veteran composer/playwright Paul Dick, will be presented October 14 to 30, 2011 by Passajj Productions at Roy Arias Theatres, 300 W 43rd Street, Manhattan, directed by Marlene Thorn Taber.

Great Lakes Theater (GLT) will commence its 50th anniversary season at the Hanna Theatre, PlayhouseSquare, with a Fall Repertory that features the Tony Award-winning musical, Cabaret and William Shakespeare's uproarious battle of the sexes, The Taming of the Shrew.

Shakespeare's final play, The Tempest, will be the final MainStage production of Hartford Stage's 48th season. The selection is the first by Hartford Stage's new Artistic Director, Darko Tresnjak, who partners with Managing Director Mike Stotts to lead the Tony Award-winning theatre. Tresnjak will direct the production, which will run at Hartford Stage May 10 - June 3, 2012; it will be his 21st professional Shakespeare production.

Drama League Directors Project 2011 begins August 22 with its annual weeklong Summer Retreat in the Berkshires.

BRAVE DUCKS, a compelling and comedic drama of courage and hope in the aftermath of disaster, written by Andrew Belcher and directed by Simón Adinia Hanukai, will receive its World Premiere in the 15th Annual New York International Fringe Festival.

Hartford Stage's Board of Directors, under the leadership of President Paul Bourdeau and Vice-President and search committee chair Jill Adams, announced today the appointment of Darko Tresnjak as the Tony Award-winning theatre's new Artistic Director, succeeding Michael Wilson.

Academy Award-winner (Amadeus) F. Murray Abraham stars as Shylock in Theatre for a New Audience's widely acclaimed 2007 production of The Merchant of Venice, directed by Darko Tresnjak.

Woolly Mammoth Theatre Company continues its 31st Season with the sexy and scintillating Oedipus el Rey, written by MacArthur Genius Grant-winner Luis Alfaro, directed by Michael John Garcés, Artistic Director of Cornerstone Theater Company in Los Angeles, CA. The show closes March 6.

Lucy Cohu (Julia), Diana Hardcastle (Edna), Ian McElhinney (Harry), Imelda Staunton (Claire) and Tim Pigott-Smith (Tobias) will join the previously announced Penelope Wilton (Agnes) in Edward Albee's A Delicate Balance, directed by James Macdonald which will run at the Almeida Theatre from 5 May - 2 July, with press night on 12 May 2011. A Delicate Balance will be designed by Laura Hopkins with lighting by Guy Hoare and sound by Ian Dickinson.

Court Theatre continues its 56th season with Edward Albee's Three Tall Women, directed by Artistic Director Charles Newell. The production will close February 13, 2011 at Court Theatre, 5535 S. Ellis Avenue.
