The Collegiate Chorale and St. Luke's Orchestra performed the concert version of Leonard Bernstein and Alan Jay Lerner's s 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.

It was confirmed today that new production of 'Brigadoon will be having its world premiere in Boston followed by an opening on Broadway in the Spring of 2009. The show features original book and lyrics by Alan Jay Lerner and music by Frederick Loewe.

The New York Philharmonic's five, semi-staged performances of Lerner and Loewe's Camelot will star Gabriel Byrne (King Arthur); Marin Mazzie (Guenevere); Nathan Gunn (Lancelot); Christopher Lloyd (Pellinore); and Marc Kudisch (Lionel).

Maureen McVerry, who made her highly-acclaimed company debut last year in Pardon My English, returns to play the role of gypsy queen Zampa Allescu. The show previews on March 27 & 28, opens on March 29 at 6 pm, and runs through April 13, with a special family matinee on Saturday April 5 @ 1 pm.

Award-winning musical director, Paul Gemignani, will lead the New York Philharmonic's semi-staged performances of Lerner and Loewe's Camelot directed by Lonny Price on May 7 and Thursday, May 8, 2008, at 7:30PM, and Friday, May 9, and Saturday, May 10 at 2PM (newly added) and 8PM. The Thursday, May 8 performance will be broadcast 'Live from Lincoln Center' nation-wide on PBS.

The performance will be conducted by The Collegiate Chorale's Music Director Robert Bass, with the Orchestra of St. Luke's.

The musical - a New York Philharmonic premiere - will be directed by Lonny Price. Thomas Z. Shepard is the producer. Casting and additional production credits will be announced at a future date.

Ghostlight Records, a division of Sh-K-Boom Records, will release the world premiere recording of the Manhattan Theatre Club's new Broadway musical LoveMusik, which was nominated for four Tony Awards. The production starred Tony Award winners Michael Cerveris and Donna Murphy and featuring the songs of Kurt Weill. The recording, produced by Joel Moss with Kurt Deutsch serving as Executive Producer, will be available in stores and online on November 27.
