IMAX Corporation (NYSE: IMAX; TSX:IMX) today announced that Peter Jackson 's The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey grossed $15.1 million in 452 IMAX theatres worldwide, which is an all-time best performance for an IMAX film in December.
