Bay Street Theatre previously announced that its 23rd Annual Summer Gala would take place in Sag Harbor at the Long Wharf tonight, July 12, 2014 to benefit Bay Street's educational and theatrical programs. The chairs of the event are longstanding patrons of the theater and the arts, Christine Wachter-Campbell & Bill Campbell, and Pia & Jimmy Zankel.

The KBT Productions presentation of Bernard Slade's Tony-award-winning play, SAME TIME NEXT YEAR, directed by Fleur du Cap Lifetime Achievement Award winner Christopher Weare, will be performed at the Fugard Studio Theatre from 17 to 28 June 2014. Featuring Paul Du Toit and Julie Hartley, the production received rave reviews when it opened last year at the Kalk Bay Theatre and won a Standard Bank Ovation Award at last year's National Arts Festival in Grahamstown.

This April, teen performers came from throughout Pennsylvania and New Jersey to participate in a rigorous audition for the much-anticipated Bucks County Playhouse Youth Company. For the first time, the Playhouse proudly offers a free, intensive, six-week musical theatre training program for young actors, culminating in two weeks of performances of Disney's Beauty and the Beast Jr. on the legendary stage at Bucks County Playhouse July 28th through August 9th.

Bucks County Playhouse has announced Marsha Mason has joined the cast of its new production of Ira Levin's Deathtrap, directed by Evan Cabnet. Mason, who is currently directing the Playhouse production of Neil Simon's Chapter Two that begins performances tonight, will play the role of the mysterious Helga Ten Dorp. The comedy thriller begins performances tonight, June 19.

Bucks County Playhouse has announced their Founders Day Diamond Jubilee, a festive community gathering on Monday evening, June 30, 2014 at 7 pm to commemorate the first 75 years of the Playhouse. The evening will begin with the debut of a new film: Straw Hat Cinderella: Bucks County Playhouse at 75. Narrated by stage and screen star Marsha Mason, the film features historic photographs, paintings and drawings and commentary by curator David Leopold, Playhouse producer Alexander Fraser, Michener Director and CEO Lisa Hanover, and painter Robert Beck. The Theatre World Awards has announced the roster of presenters for the 70th Annual Theatre World Awards Ceremony that include DeAdre Aziza, Dylan Baker, Len Cariou, Tovah Feldshuh, Trent Kowalik, Jefferson Mays, John McMartin, and Zachary Quinto, with special performances by Mr. Cariou and Rob McClure, Monday evening, June 2, 2014 beginning at 7:45 p.m. at Circle in the Square (West 50th Street, between Broadway and 8th Avenue), home of the current Broadway revival of Lady Day at Emerson's Bar and Grill.
