Walnut Street Theatre concludes its landmark 202nd season with an all-new production of the musical masterpiece MISS SAIGON. Directed by award-winning Director Bruce Lumpkin, the international sensation MISS SAIGON began previews on May 17th, opened on May 25th and runs through July 17th on the WST Mainstage.

There will be major cast changes in the legendary musical 'LES MISERABLES' at the Queen's Theatre from Thursday 23 June 2011. Caroline Sheen will play ‘Fantine', Alexia Khadime ‘Eponine', Craig Mather ‘Marius', Katy Secombe ‘Madame Thénardier', Liam Tamne ‘Enjolras' and Lisa-Anne Wood ‘Cosette'. They join the previously announced Alfie Boe as ‘Jean Valjean', Matt Lucas as ‘Thénardier' and Hadley Fraser as ‘Javert'.

The LA Times 24 Frames blog has the scoop that Tom Hooper, who was recently Oscar-nominated for directing THE KING'S SPEECH has now been offered the film version of LES MISERABLES. The blog reports that it's being conceived as a fully 'big budget musical'.
