NBC Shares Upcoming Primetime Schedule 2/4-3/4

With the SOHO International Film Festival #SOHO8 returning to NYC for seven days of films at Village East Cinemas (189 2nd Avenue on 12th Street) June 15 - 22, 2017, the full schedule of films has finally been announced!

Waterwell is presenting a new dual language (English/Farsi) version of Hamlet at the Sheen Center for Thought and Culture (18 Bleecker Street). Starring Tony Award nominees Arian Moayed as Hamlet, Sherie Rene Scott as Gertrude, and Micah Stock as Horatio, with direction by Drama Desk nominee Tom Ridgely, Hamlet is currently in previews for a May 21st opening. Thomas Arnold, Heather Burns, Max Casella, Clint Dyer, Danny Huston, Ajay Naidu and Madeleine Potter cast in The Kid Stays in the Picture based on the life story of legendary Hollywood producer Robert Evans directed by Simon McBurney.

Direct from London and an international tour, Complicite's acclaimed production of The Encounter, conceived, directed and performed by Simon McBurney, opened just last night at Broadway's John Golden Theatre (252 West 45th Street). The production began performances on September 20 and will play a limited engagement through January 8, 2017.
