Rush, Rickman, Shaw & More Set for BAM in 2011

Joseph V. Melillo, executive producer of the Brooklyn Academy of Music, today announced programming for the BAM 2011 Spring Season, which runs from Jan 7 through Jun 11, 2011. The season comprises eight theater, opera, and dance engagements and features BAMcinématek series, BAMcafé Live weekend music events, artist talks, visual art exhibitions, and literary events.

The Museum of Modern Art's Summergarden concert series returns to The Abby Aldrich Rockefeller Sculpture Garden for four Sunday evenings beginning July 11, 2010. Summergarden, a tradition that began in 1971, is part of MoMA's long history of presenting jazz and classical music, including several premieres, in the Sculpture Garden. MoMA once again welcomes the participation of The Juilliard School and Jazz at Lincoln Center, whose collaboration makes Summergarden possible.

Fountain Gallery Will Exhibit 100 Original Works of Art, 6/4

Fountain Gallery, the premier venue in New York City representing artists with mental illness, has announced that 100 original works by its artists will be exhibited for sale at the seventh End of Annual Meeting Season Celebration on Friday, June 4, 2010, from 6:00 to 10:00 p.m. The event will take place at Ellen Philip Associates, located at 134 West 26th Street in Manhattan.
