YoungArts, the core program of the National Foundation for Advancement in the Arts, will hold its annual In the Studio, a Celebration of YoungArts Gold and Silver Winners benefit in New York City on Thursday, April 22 at 7p.m. at the Baryshnikov Arts Center and Affirmation Arts gallery. Chaired by Agnes Gund, Sarah Arison, Marian Davis and Nikki Brown, the benefit raises funds and awareness for the talented student artists the YoungArts program is dedicated to supporting.

The evening is the culmination of the weeklong In the Studio program, an artistic residency for 37 talented young artists from the fields of dance, cinematic arts, jazz, music, photography, theater, visual arts, voice and writing, who were selected as the best of the best from a group of 142 high school senior artists from across the nation who came to Miami in January for YoungArts Week, a five-day intensive training and performance program with world-renowned artists.

The evening includes a performance by the Dance, Theater, Voice, Classical Music, Jazz and Writing winners, at the Baryshnikov Arts Center, 450 W. 37th Street, followed by an exhibition by the Visual Arts, Photography and Cinematic Arts winners at Affirmation Arts gallery, 523 W. 37th Street.

Tickets begin at $500. For ticket information or to RSVP, please contact Megan Harmon at inthestudio@youngarts.org or 305.377.1140 x 1302.
