Ovation, America's only arts network, is launching a new programming block for arts and culture lovers.

Northlight Theatre, under the direction of Artistic Director BJ Jones and Executive Director Timothy J. Evans, announces the first four selections of its 40th Anniversary Season. The celebratory season kicks-off with the current Off-Broadway hit The Commons of Pensacola, which is expected to be the first regional production. The season continues with Agatha Christie's mystery The Mousetrap, which is the world's longest-running play. Playwright Bruce Graham (Stella & Lou, The Outgoing Tide) returns to Northlight for the World Premiere of White Guy on the Bus. Shining Lives: A Musical, based on Melanie Marnich's play, commissioned by Northlight and written by Jessica Thebus (book & lyrics), Andre Pluess and Amanda Dehnert (music) will make its World Premiere in the Spring. An additional title is yet to be announced.

Stoneham Theatre's upcoming Mainstage production of the musical mystery comedy Something's Afoot is a reunion of sorts. Director Caitlin Lowans has assembled a cast of Stoneham Theatre favorites who will be familiar to Stoneham Theatre audiences as well as audiences around the Greater Boston Area.

Internationally acclaimed British actor David Suchet will reprise his role on stage in the conspiracy thriller, 'THE LAST CONFESSION', in Australia in 2014. The international production will play in Toronto and Los Angeles before arriving in Australia in August. Seasons in Perth and Brisbane were announced late last year and now dates have been confirmed for seasons at Adelaide's Her Majesty's Theatre from August 27 and Melbourne's Comedy Theatre from September 3. Tickets on sale from Friday February 7.

Premiere Stages, the professional theatre company in residence at Kean University, has announced two new playwriting residencies in Rahway. Funding from the Northfield Bank Foundation has enabled Premiere Stages to return to Rahway 7th and 8th Grade Academy for an eight week in-school playwriting residency in 2014. The foundation will also fund a second residency with 6th grade students at Rahway's Roosevelt Elementary School.
