FringeNYC Winner ABSOLUTELY FILTHY Joins Encore Series, 10/1-5 at SoHo Playhouse

Absolutely Filthy, the winner of 3 FringeNYC Overall Excellence Awards (Overall Play, Actor and Audience Favorite) will join the 10th Annual FringeNYC Encore Series. This unauthorized parody of the classic cartoon Peanuts which envisions what the beloved characters might be like in their 30's will run October 1-5 at SoHo Playhouse.

First Stage Adaptation of Thriller Novelist Peter James Premieres in Canterbury at the Marlowe Theatre

The first stage adaptation of the work of international best-selling crime thriller novelist Peter James comes to Canterbury next month. With its darkly comic and thrilling storyline, The Perfect Murder was a success on the first leg of its tour earlier this year. Now set for an extended run, which opens at The Marlowe Theatre today 2 September, it has been recast and stars Robert Daws and Dawn Steele.

HARRY POTTER's Georgina Leonidas to Star in BLACK COFFEE at the Wyvern Theatre This Autumn

Georgina Leonidas, who portrayed Katie Bell in the film adaptation of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Parts 1 and 2, will star in Agatha Christie's Black Coffee at the Wyvern Theatre this September. Ahead of her performances in Swindon, the actress made a visit to Wiltshire and one of the iconic Harry Potter film locations, Lacock Abbey.

MURDER, MARGARET AND ME Plays FringeNYC, Now thru 8/22

Murder, Margaret and Me will have its North American Premiere as part of the 2014 New York Fringe Festival. Written by award-winning writer Philip Meeks, the play is a one-woman show performed by Janet Prince, who has received universal acclaim for her interpretation of British acting legend Margaret Rutherford. It is helmed by British crime novelist and director Stella Duffy.

Jason Durr to Star as Poirot in BLACK COFFEE Tour

Heartbeat's Jason Durr stars as Agatha Christie character, Hercule Poirot, in Black Coffee at New Victoria Theatre, starting August 14. Joining Durr is Harry Potter actress Georgina Leonidas, Not Going Out's Deborah Grand, and Coronation Street's Oliver Mellor, Peak Practice's Gary Mavers, and Soldier Soldier's Ben Nealon.

Dorset Theatre Festival to Present Agatha Christie's THE MOUSETRAP, 8/14-30

Dorset Theatre Festival will present The Mousetrap, Dame Agatha Christie's masterpiece of mayhem and mystery, from August 14th through the 30th at the Dorset Playhouse. The Mousetrap, in addition to being one of Christie's most famous works, has the distinction of being the world's longest continually running play. The original production, at London's Ambassador Hotel, has been running continuously since 1952!
