THE 39 STEPS Opens Cortland Rep's 46th Summer Season

Cortland Repertory Theatre kicks off their 46th annual summer season at the Little York Pavilion in Preble with the brilliantly hysterical spy comedy The 39 Steps. This award winning play was adapted by Patrick Barlow from the novel by John Buchan and the movie by Alfred Hitchcock.  Performances will run from June 7th - 17th with evening show times at 7:30 PM.  Matinees are available on June 9th, 11th and 14th at 2:00 PM.  Tickets may be purchased by calling 800-427-6160 or at the CRT Box Office at 24 Port Watson Street in Cortland. Tickets are also available for sale 24 hours a day through the CRT website at www.cortlandrep.org. The GPS address for the Little York Pavilion is 6799 Little York Lake Road in Preble.

MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET, MURDER FOR TWO and More Set for Saint Michael's Playhouse's 70th Season

Playhouse Producing Artistic Director Chuck Tobin today announced the June 20 opening of Saint Michael's Playhouse for the company's 70th season of live professional theater with a line-up of shows that include area premieres and a Pulitzer-prize winning American comedy classic, all part of what Yankee Magazine hails as "The Best of New England." 

Cortland Rep Box Office Opens for Summer Sales on Monday 5/22

The Cortland Repertory Theatre Box Office will open for all summer ticket sales for their 46th annual season starting on Monday, May 22nd.  The Box Office is located at 24 Port Watson Street in downtown Cortland, and is open Monday - Friday from 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM, and on Saturdays from noon - 6:00 PM.  Once performances begin at the Little York Pavilion, the Box Office at that location is open from 6:00 PM - 7:30 PM and 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM on performance days only.

BWW Review: New Company Prime Productions Debuts with LITTLE WARS

MainStage Irving-Las Colinas Announces 2017-18 Season

MainStage Irving-Las Colinas unveiled three plays, two musicals and a special collaboration that will be produced as part of the 2017-18 season to a packed house of volunteers, subscribers, and supporters on Saturday night, April 15 at the Irving Arts Center. Ken Ludwig to Lecture on Shakespeare at Boston Public Library This Week

The Olivier Award winning playwright Ken Ludwig - also a 3-time Tony nominee, Drama Desk and Outer Critics Award winner - will give a lecture entitled HOW TO TEACH YOUR CHILDREN SHAKESPEARE, based on his book of the same name on Wednesday, May 3 at 6 p.m. at the Boston Public Library (Rabb Hall) located at 700 Boylston St. in Boston. 

Seattle Public Theater Announces 2017-18 Season

Gregory Award-winning Seattle Public Theater announced the lineup for its 2017-18 season yesterday. The six plays, including a newly-commissioned world premiere by local playwright Maggie Lee and the runaway broadway sensation Hand to God by Robert Askins, were chosen specifically by newly appointed co-producing Artistic Directors Kelly Kitchens and Annie Lareau as part of the organization's mission to produce compelling and socially relevant theater that sparks conversation, broadens consciousness, and inspires compassion.
