On Janury 29th, Broadway's Cinderella, two-time Tony Award nominee Laura Osnes, and music director Benjamin Rauhala hosted the fourth installment of THE BROADWAY PRINCESS PARTY at Feinstein's/54 Below, featuring Christy Altomare, Jenna Ushkowitz, Courtney Reed, Taylor Louderman, and more than a dozen more princesses, plus surprise guests Lesli Margherita and Derek Klena. Just last night, kids from The Police Athletic League headed to the Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre to check out The Color Purple, and got to meet wit the cast afterwards. Check out photos below!

Beginning performances tonight, November 15, Nathaniel Stampley will assume the role of Mister in John Doyle's Tony Award-winning production of the Broadway musical, The Color Purple.

The Tony Award-winning revival of THE COLOR PURPLE will play its final performance on Broadway on Sunday, January 8, 2017. Upon closing, the production will have played 449 regular and 33 preview performances at the Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre (242 W 45th Street). A North American tour of the production will launch in the fall of 2017.

Beginning performances Tuesday, November 15, Nathaniel Stampley will assume the role of Mister in John Doyle's Tony Award-winning production of the Broadway musical, THE COLOR PURPLE. Isaiah Johnson, who originated the role, will give his final performance on Sunday, November 13.

Musicals Tonight! continues its ongoing salute to Broadway and Off-Broadway Standbys, Understudies and Alternates with its next edition of  AT THIS PERFORMANCE… to be held on Sunday, October 23rd at The Lion Theatre, 410 West 42nd Street at 7 PM.

Beginning performances Tuesday, November 15, CARRIE COMPERE will assume the role of Sofia in John Doyle's Tony Award-winning production of the Broadway musical, THE COLOR PURPLE.  Tony nominee DANIELLE BROOKS, who originated the role, will give her final performance on Sunday, November 13.

The best of Broadway will be performing FREE on six consecutive Thursdays this summer with '106.7 LITE FM's Broadway in Bryant Park 2016' - a lunchtime series that just kicked off this week, July 7 on the Bryant Park Stage. Hosted by LITE FM's on-air personalities, the 16th annual presentation of open-air, On- and Off- Broadway lunch hour performances will run through Thursday, August 11.

In attendance today was the cast of The Color Purple (Antoine L. Smith, Rema Webb, Phoenix Best, Akron Watson, Carrie Compere, Adrianna Hicks, Patrice Covington, Lawrence Clayton) who performed three songs from the show: 'Push Da Button,' 'Any Little Thing,' and 'The Color Purple.'
