On Sunday, May 11th, 2014 at 7:00pm, BroadwayWorld.com will continue its 2014 concert series at legendary cabaret venue Joe's Pub at The Public Theater, hosting an all-star tribute concert and benefit celebrating the music of incomparable multi-award-winning composer Jule Styne, while also honoring Mother's Day and raising funds for The Breast Cancer Research Foundation, and, today, we offer you a first glimpse at the eye-grabbing, elegant and evocative poster created by gifted designer Alex Botero.

Way Off Broadway to Celebrate Mother's Day with Special Performance of SINGIN' IN THE RAIN, 5/11

They say that spring showers bring May flowers. At The Way Off Broadway Dinner Theatre, spring showers have brought the musical Singin' in the Rain to the stage. Based on the classic MGM film, Singin' in the Rain is part of the theatre's 20th Anniversary Season. Last seen in Frederick nearly twenty years ago, Singin' in the Rain continues its run at Way Off Broadway through May 31st.

Freedman), of the new hit musical, A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder at the Walter Kerr Theatre. Lutvak performs songs from the show for co-hosts Michael Riedel of the New York Post and Susan Haskins and explains the musical settings and how they were conceived.

STAGE TUBE: On This Day 4/12- BELLS ARE RINGING

Today in 2001, the first Broadway revival of Bells Are Ringing opened at the Plymouth Theatre (now the Gerald Shoenfeld Theatre), where it ran for 68 performances. Bells Are Ringing is a musical with a book and lyrics by Betty Comden and Adolph Green and music by Jule Styne. The story revolves around Ella, who works at an answering service and the characters that she meets there. The original Broadway production, directed by Jerome Robbins and choreographed by Robbins and Bob Fosse, opened on November 29, 1956 at the Shubert Theatre, where it ran for slightly more than two years, and starred Judy Holliday as Ella and Sydney Chaplin as Jeff Moss.

Guest artistic director, writer and host Ted Chapin, head of the Rodgers & Hammerstein Organization, shares an insider's perspective on the pair, gleaned from his years with the Rodgers and Hammerstein families; joined by vocalists Lewis Cleale, Mandy Gonzalez, Jonathan Groff, Rebecca Luker, and Phillipa Soo.

Jim Brochu's CHARACTER MAN to Close 4/6 at Urban Stages

Urban Stages Frances Hill, Founding Artistic Director and producer Peter Napolitano, announced the final week of the World Premiere engagement of Character Man. Jim Brochu's new musical memoir at Urban Stages Theatre (259 West 30th Street). This limited run will continue through April 6th only. Robert Bartley directs, with musical direction by Carl Haan. The Final Post-Show Talk will take place on Wednesday, April 2nd with Special Guest Karen Mason (Mamma Mia, Sunset Boulevard, Hairspray), moderated by Peter Filichia.
