The Drama League (Executive Artistic Director, Gabriel Shelian-Shanks) gathers today for the 82nd Annual Drama League Awards Ceremony, hosted by 2016 Tony® Award-nominees, Zachary Levi (She Loves Me) and Megan Hilty (Noises Off), in the Broadway Ballroom at the Marriott Marquis Times Square (1535 Broadway). 

The 2016 Drama League Award Nominees for Outstanding Play, Outstanding Revival of a Play, Outstanding Musical, Outstanding Revival of a Musical, and the much-coveted Distinguished Performance Award were just announced this morning at Sardi's, by Aladdin stars Adam Jacobs, Courtney Reed and James Monroe Iglehart. The Tony Award-winning hit musical AN AMERICAN IN PARIS celebrates its first year on Broadway tonight, Tuesday, April 12. Since it opened on April 12, 2015 at the Palace Theatre, AN AMERICAN IN PARIS has played 416 regular performances and 29 previews and has been seen by over 650,000 people. Following the performance on April 12, the cast will be treated to a special anniversary cake provided by Carlo's Bakery.

BroadwayWorld has confirmed that Eugene O'Neill's Hughie, starring Forest Whitaker in his Broadway debut, will continue for three more three weeks, with its final performance at Broadway's Booth Theatre (222 West 45 Street) slated for Sunday, March 27, 2016.
