Chris Isaacson in association with UPRIGHT CABARET announced the world premiere of Jennifer Leigh Warren starring in 'LITTLE WOMAN/BIG VOICE: The Songs of Dame Shirley Bassey,' which will make its Los Angeles debut in Spring 2011. Acclaimed Director Richard Jay-Alexander (Barbra Streisand, Bette Midler 'Kiss My Brass' Tour, Bernadette Peters) is at the helm.

The critically acclaimed Gay Men's Chorus of Los Angeles (GMCLA) - a leading artistic force, staunch advocate of civil and human rights, and the first gay men's choir to perform for a sitting president (Bill Clinton) - has harnessed the power of music to create a moving anti-bullying music video message featuring Cyndi Lauper's inspiring anthem 'True Colors' for the Internet's 'It Gets Better' project aimed at LGBT youth. More than 200 people of all ages and ethnic backgrounds from across the Southland - gay and straight - participated in the ambitious five-minute video, which was filmed in the gymnasium of Immanuel Presbyterian Church in Los Angeles and further establishes GMCLA as a leading force promoting equality and acceptance. RCA recording artist and former American Idol runner-up Adam Lambert is launching his first ever International Tour on November 9 in Stockholm.

This week, Adam Lambert appeared on the 'Kidd Kraddick in the Morning' syndicated radio and web talk show to discuss all things Broadway and American Idol. The WICKED alum reveals in the discussion that it was, in fact, his desire to better position himself on Broadway that motivated his decision to try for Idol. Having understudied in WICKED for a time without a promotion, Lambert explains that he felt the push Idol could give him in the media could better his chances to land a leading role on the Great White Way.

Singer Adam Lambert will perform at Staten Island's St. George Theatre on August 24 at 8pm.
