Voting is fully underway for BroadwayWorld's 2010 Theatre Fans' Choice Awards, with thousands of votes already in and recording voting numbers already being set. So far there have been early leads established for some surprising and not so suprising early leaders.
Two-time Golden Globe and three-time Emmy Award-winner Edie Falco and Tony nominee Alison Pill will star in the NAKED ANGELS-produced American premiere of This Wide Night, by Blackburn Prize-winning playwright Chloe Moss, directed by Anne Kauffman. Previews begin May 8, 2010 and the play will officially open at the Peter Jay Sharp Theatre (416 West 42nd Street) on May 16, 2010. This Wide Night will run through June 20, 2010.

Each year celebrities donate their artwork, or doodles, that are auctioned off in this annual fundraiser, at which The Barrow Group also honors individuals for their service to the arts and TBG. Producers of The Miracle Worker announced today that the show will close on April 4, 2010 at a complete loss of the show's full $2.6 million capitalization.
Last week, rehearsals began for the upcoming Garden of Dreams Spring Talent Show, which will be held on April 28 at Radio City Music Hall and hosted by Whoopie Goldberg. Special guest Jane Krakwoski led the rehearsal with the kids along with the Radio City Rockettes, providing tips advice and comments on how to improve their technique, in dance and singing numbers, and how to find confidence in their own performance abilities. DRG Records is releasing a recording of Jane Krakowski's nightclub debut at Feinstein's at Loews Regency. The recording is set to be released on March 23 and will be available in all major online and retail outlets. The show, which played the famed Fienstein's at Lowes Regency from October 6 through October 17, featured songs popularized by female performers who have inspired her such as Anita O'Day, Ann-Margret and Eartha Kitt.
