The opening night of Circumcise Me, a new comedy written by and starring Yisrael Campbell celebrated opening on November 18th. Directed bySam Gold (Circle Mirror Transformation, Jollyship The Whiz Bang), Circumcise Me began previews Off-Broadway at The Bleecker Street Theater (45 Bleecker Street just East of Lafayette Street) on November 1st. The show is produced by Evelyn McGee Colbert and Eva Price for Maximum Entertainment Productions.

La Jolla Playhouse is pleased to announce the complete cast of its world-premiere musical Bonnie & Clyde, music by Frank Wildhorn (Jekyll & Hyde, The Scarlet Pimpernel), lyrics by Tony Award-winner Don Black (Sunset Boulevard, Song and Dance), book by Ivan Menchell (The Cemetery Club, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang), with direction and musical staging by Jeff Calhoun (Deaf West's Big River and Pippin, Grease!), playing November 10 - December 20, 2009 in the Playhouse's Mandell Weiss Theatre.

The Fordham University Alumni Theatre Company announced the details of its second annual production, ONCE THERE WAS A BOY, a new play by Jason Pizzarello. The production is a collaboration of thirty Fordham University alums, including Pizzarello and director Aaron Rhyne, and will begin its special limited engagement on August 1, 2009 at Fordham University's Pope Auditorium (113 W. 60th Street, NYC).
