Rarely Pure Theatre to Stage AS YOU LIKE IT, 1/9-26

Established director Rosanna Saracino (art&lies productions, REDHANDED, TPM, Randolph Academy, York University) helms this side-splitting classic featuring breakout performances by an explosive cast of promising emerging artists. Driven by Rarely Pure founding members, Christina Bryson (Isoprox Theatre, Toronto Masque Theatre, Feature Film: Fragile Minds), Spencer Robson (Paranormal Witness, Humber River Shakespeare, 4th Line Theatre), and David DiFrancesco (Theatre 20 Emerging Artist Ensemble, Hart House, Theatre Aquarius) and joined by the fresh talents of Katie Ribout (Paranormal Witness, Alumnae Theatre, Quixotic Arts Collective), Gaby Grice (Theatre 20 Emerging Artist Ensemble, First Act Productions, Mnemonic Theatre) as well as Indie theatre veteran Benjamin Blais, (RedOne Theatre Collective, Theatre Brouhaha) this production promises to be a refreshing and exciting evening for the whole family.

Drama League's DIRECTORFEST 2013 Kicks Off Tonight at TBG Theatre

The Drama League (Executive Director Gabriel Shanks; Artistic Director Roger T. Danforth) has announced full casting for the 30th Annual DirectorFest, a festival of one-act plays staged by the Fall Directing Fellows, Elizabeth Carlson, Alexandru Mihail, Danny Sharron and Nicole A. Watson, for a limited 5-performance engagement, December 12 - 15, 2013 at The TBG Theatre (312 West 36th Street, between 8th & 9th Avenues).

Susan Boyle Sings at Lakewood Church in First Live U.S. Solo Performance Today

Pastors Joel and Victoria Osteen welcome Susan Boyle to Lakewood Church in Houston, Texas, for her biggest-ever live performance in the USA during two Today services (at 8:30 and 11:00 am CST) November 17, 2013. Both services will be live-streamed at www.joelosteen.com and rebroadcast on the Daystar Television Network three weeks later.

According to Kirk Patrick, SoledOutComedy founder, the company will debut their first Variety Act Dinner Show tonight, September 12 featuring Larry Silver, a nationally-known Stage Hypnotist.

Lindsay Posner's production of The Turn of the Screw at the Almeida Theatre finishes it's run on 16 March 2013. The cast comprises Caroline Bartleet (a woman), Laurence Belcher (Miles), Eoin Geoghegan (a man), Gemma Jones (Mrs. Grose), Anna Madeley (The Governess), Orlando Wells (Sackville) and Isabella Blake, Emilia Jones and Lucy Morton who will alternate the role of Flora. The Turn of the Screw is sponsored by Pinsent Masons LLP.

MASTER CHOREOGRAPHERS Dance Concert Plays Muhlenberg College, Now thru 2/9

Muhlenberg College will showcase world premiere dance works created by five of the region's most accomplished choreographers and two restagings by internationally acclaimed choreographers, in the College's annual 'Master Choreographers' dance concert, tonight, Feb. 7-9.

Nicole Strawbridge, Artistic Director, has announces that First Act Productions will be presenting HAIR: The Tribal Love- Rock Musical, with book and lyrics James Rado and Gerome Ragni, and music by Galt MacDermott.
