While humour has always been an important part of theatre in India, Cheer! looks to pay tribute to the wave of irreverent, satirical and often topical wit that has laced the rise of the stand-up comedy genre over the past few years. Lindsay Posner's production of The Turn of the Screw at the Almeida Theatre finishes it's run on 16 March 2013. The cast comprises Caroline Bartleet (a woman), Laurence Belcher (Miles), Eoin Geoghegan (a man), Gemma Jones (Mrs. Grose), Anna Madeley (The Governess), Orlando Wells (Sackville) and Isabella Blake, Emilia Jones and Lucy Morton who will alternate the role of Flora. According to Variety, a revival of A CHORUS LINE will open at the London Palladium on the West End, Feb. 2-June 29, 2013. This will be the first London revival since the original production. Original co-choreographer Bob Avian is set to direct. Casting will be announced at a later date.
