New York City is seeing spots as The 101 Dalmatians Musical comes to The Theater at Madison Square Garden April 7 - April 18, 2010, presented by Purina Dog Chow. To celebrate their arrival to New York City, the stars of the show and five live Dalmatians arrived in true NYC style aboard an FDNY fire truck lead by New York's bravest and also children from the Uniformed Firefighters Association Widows and Children's Fund, part of the Garden of Dreams Foundation. Yesterday, April 6, BroadwayWorld was on hand to partake in the welcome.
Animal Cast of 101 DALMATIANS Receive Their Own Tour Bus

The New York Post recently took a look behind the scenes of the current tour of 101 DALMATIANS, specifically looking at the difficulties of having a cast of 15 dogs. According to the report, the dogs have received their own tour bus and enjoy more luxuries than many of the cast members.

BroadwayWorld.com has learned that the 101 DALMATIONS MUSICAL Tour that has been making its way cross country will close after it's Madison Square Garden engagement on April 18, 2010. The production opens in New York on April 7, 2010. Stops in San Antonio, Kansas City, Pittsburgh, and San Diego had been scheduled through early June thereafter, but will be cancelled, accordingly.

Melissa James Gibson's new play THIS opens off-Broadway tonight at Playwright's Horizons. Previews for THIS began November 6th and will play through December 13th. The cast will star 'Law and Order's' Julianne Nicholson, as well as Louis Cancelmi, Eisa Davis (Obie Award winner for Passing Strange), Darren Pettie, and Glenn Fitzgerald. THIS is directed by Daniel Aukin.
