The global smash hit musical MAMMA MIA! at London's Novello Theatre is now extending its booking period until 14 October 2017, taking the show through to its 19th playing year in London.

Husband-and-wife duo John Pizzarelli and Jessica Molaskey make their annual fall pilgrimage toCafe Carlyle with an all-new show, The Arc of a Love Affair, November 22-December 1. They return following last year's universally acclaimed show My Generation. 

E. Davis-Banks grew up in a neighborhood where everyone knew each other and looked out for each other. For her, that provided stability and a safe environment not only for her but for her neighbors and fellow kids at that time. With the passion to awaken in most urban neighborhoods the good rapport and support system she grew up with, she writes 'My Street, My Friends' (published by AuthorHouse), a touching story how a support block for children will lead these kids to have a straight path in life and a stable environment to live in.

Horton Foote's The Roads To Home opened last night at the Cherry Lane Theatre and Broadwayworld was there for the festivities.  The Roads To Home is a Primary Stages production in association with Catherine Adler and Jamie deRoy. It's run has been extended throughSunday, November 27, 2016.

American Theater Company (ATC) announces casting for its regional premiere of Men on Boats by Jaclyn Backhaus, Jan. 6-Feb. 12, 2017, immediately following the production's acclaimed Off Broadway run directed by ATC Artistic Director Will Davis at Playwrights Horizons. Davis also helms the ATC production, with an all new Chicago cast.

Garth Taylor (The Rooks) joins the cast of Dust Can't Kill Me. Garth will play opposite the previously announced Elizabeth A. Davis and Kathryn Gallagher in a concert presentation of Dust Can't Kill Me: a new folk musical by Abigail Carney and Elliah Heifetz.

Legendary singer-songwriter Judy Collins returns to Cafe Carlyle with with special guest, Ari Hest, November 10-19. Judy Collins' unique artistry has captivated audiences for over fifty years and landed her a spot in the Grammy Hall of Fame. Judy will perform her revered solo material as well as duets with Ari Hest. Judy and Ari released a stunning, collaborative album Silver Skies Blueearlier this year.

On Monday, September 26, 2016, The New York Innovative Theatre Foundation, the organization who for the past 12 years has been dedicated to celebrating Off-Off-Broadway, announced the 2016 recipients at its annual awards ceremony, The IT Awards. Hosted by a crowd favorite, Jason Kravits and directed by award winning director and sound designer, DeLisa White the ceremony took place from 7pm to 10pm at the Kaye Playhouse at Hunter College.

The Dozen Divas (Dorothy Bishop) performed at at the Metropolitan Room last night and Broadwayworld was there.  This was a special show to celebrate the birthday of Sandra McFarland and all the  divas present came wrapped up in one person: international performer and 'America's Got Talent' finalist Dorothy Bishop.

Revolutionizing the live musical theater experience, the acclaimed company For The Record makes its triumphant return to Los Angeles in a new production, For The Record: Scorsese - American Crime Requiem. This new show will bring the legendary filmmaker's soundtracks to life in a new generation cabaret from September 21 through October 16 at the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts.
