STAGE TUBE: ONCE Performs at Macy's Day Parade!

America's favorite holiday tradition, the 86th Annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, returns to dazzle and enchant millions nationwide today, Thursday, November 22. The festivities will be featured both on NBC and CBS, each providing performances from different Broadway companies. Check out a performance from the Tony Award-winning ONCE from the CBS parade broadcast!

Steve Tyrell Presents CHRISTMAS AT THE CARLYLE: THE SONGS OF SAMMY CAHN, 11/27-12/31

The Carlyle, A Rosewood Hotel will usher in the holiday season with Steve Tyrell at the Café Carlyle. His new show and tribute to Sammy Cahn, Christmas at the Carlyle: The Songs of Sammy Cahn, features songs from the famed songwriter whose music continues to inspire generations today. Songs from the engagement will be included in the forthcoming Concord release, 'It's Magic, the Songs of Sammy Cahn' due out spring 2013. Mr. Tyrell will open at the Café Carlyle on November 27th and play through December 31st.

The National Theatre's award-winning production of War Horse last night (25 October 2012) celebrated its fifth anniversary in London with a special performance at the New London Theatre, Drury Lane. AWASH IN COLOR: FRENCH AND JAPANESE PRINTS On View at University of Chicago's Smart Museum of Art, 10/4-1/20

The University of Chicago's Smart Museum of Art presents Awash in Color: French and Japanese Prints, a new exhibition that examines the distinct yet overlapping traditions of color printmaking in France and Japan. On view from October 4, 2012 to January 20, 2013, the exhibition presents more than one hundred and thirty exquisite prints and illustrated books from the eighteenth to twentieth centuries.

BWW JR: Tony Award-Winning ONCE Casting 5-7 Year Old Girl

The producers of Broadway's ONCE are seeking one five to seven year old girl to play IVANKA, the sweet natured daughter of GIRL. Actresses should be comfortable on stage and have the ability to sing. BlakTinX Begins New Season at BAAD, 10/5

BAAD! - The Bronx Academy of Arts and Dance - begins its fall season with the BlakTinx Performance Series from October 5 through November 16, 2012. This annual festival celebrates art and performance in various disciplines by African Americans, Latinos, and other artists of color will include several evenings of Bronx dance companies alongside companies from around the world, plus theater, performance art and a sexy comic book workshop.
