Second in the series of salons presented by 42nd Street Moon is a tribute to Ira Gershwin. The January 28th salon will be led by Broadway veteran Donna McKechnie. Also joining the cast is Klea Blackhurst, as well as Bill Fahrner, Alexandra Kaprelian and Darlene Popovich.

KLEA BLACKHURST - hailed as 'an improbably terrific young performer' by the New York Times - is establishing a new home for her show Everything the Traffic Will Allow: The Songs and Sass of Ethel Merman at The Snapple Theater (210 West 50th Street).

Tony Winner Donna McKechnie and Klea Blackhurst will join Cady Huffman as performers in the 42nd Street Moon Salons, which will hold two performances on October 13th and January 28th. The October 13th performanace, entitled 'I Feel A Song Coming On!' is a salon of Dorothy Fields songs and is lead by Tony Winner Cady Huffman. The 42nd Street Moon presents Jubilee with music and lyrics by Cole Porter, book by Moss Hart and directed by Greg MacKellan. The show will run from November 25 - December 13 with opening / press night on Saturday, November 28 at 6 pm.

he sixth annual San Francisco Theater Festival, a free one-day extravaganza of 100 shows on 14 stages has been scheduled for Sunday, July 26, 2009, from 11:00 am - 5:00 pm at the Yerba Buena Gardens arts complex, including the new Contemporary Jewish Museum.
