42nd Street Moon's Artistic Director, Greg MacKellan, today announced that the Company will present Klea Blackhurst in her highly-acclaimed one-woman show, Everything the Traffic Will Allow: The Songs and Sass of Ethel Merman for five performances only at the Eureka Theatre from April 21 - 25.

42nd Street Moon's Ira Gershwin Celebration kicks off with one of the earliest Gershwin hits: Lady, Be Good!, the first smash hit the Gershwin brothers enjoyed in New York. It opens at the Eureka Theatre on Saturday, April 3, with three low-priced previews on March 31, April 1 and 2, and runs through April 18.

Second in the series of salons presented by 42nd Street Moon is a tribute to Ira Gershwin. The January 28th salon will be led by Broadway veteran Donna McKechnie. Also joining the cast is Klea Blackhurst, as well as Bill Fahrner, Alexandra Kaprelian and Darlene Popovich.

From the moment she stepped onto the Broadway stage and gave us her iconic portrait of the singer/dancer 'Cassie' in Michael Bennett's history-making A Chorus Line Donna McKechnie has been a star.

Where does all that 42nd Street Moon talent come from? The answers are on stage as San Francisco's only professional musical theatre ensemble launches a growing series of educational programs for the new year, 'Working Actors Workshops,' spearheaded by 'Moon' Ensemble regulars Dyan McBride and Cindy Goldfield.
