The 24 Hour Plays on Broadway announced today, in collaboration with the theater ticket app TodayTix, the launch of a mobile Rush for its 16th annual flagship event at American Airlines Theater this upcoming Monday, November 14, 2016. The TodayTix mobile Rush will offer $40 tickets to the event.

The 24 Hour Plays on Broadway announced today the cast for its anticipated annual production at American Airlines Theater on November 14, 2016.

The Park Theatre will present The Matchbook Players production of  The 24 Hours Plays: MONADNOCK! on Saturday, October 8th at the Jaffrey Woman's Club in downtown Jaffrey, New Hampshire.

This year, The 24 Hour Plays on Broadway will honor Leigh Silverman -- director of MCC's current production of Neil LaBute's All The Ways to Say I Love You starring Judith Light and The New Group's upcoming production of Sweet Charity starring Sutton Foster -- with the Artistic Inspiration Award.

The New Group has announced additional guests for post-show talkbacks at The Sensuality Party, with playwrights Thomas Bradshaw (Burning, Intimacy) and Erika Sheffer (Russian Transport) joining in the conversation at Brooklyn College following the 7:00pm performances on May 2 and May 3, respectively, and Wallace Shawn (Aunt Dan and Lemon, The Fever, Marie and Bruce) joining at LaGuardia Community College following the 2:30pm performance on May 11.

Performances begin tonight for The Sensuality Party, a new play by Justin Kuritzkes, presented by The New Group as part of the company's 2015-2016 season. This New York premiere, directed by Danya Taymor, features Catherine Combs, Jeff Cuttler, Katherine Folk-Sullivan, Jake Horowitz, Layla Khoshnoudi and Rowan Vickers.

On May 2nd, The 24 Hour Company® is teaming with The Exchange, an off-Broadway theater company, to create the eighth annual The 24 Hour Musicals to be held at the Highline Ballroom. A team of more than 100 - including stars from Broadway, film, television, and music - will cast, write, compose, direct, rehearse, tech, and perform four original musicals - all in the obscenely short time between an evening meet-and-greet on Sunday, May 1st and show time on Monday, May 2 at 8pm. The event benefits the Exchange's summer program, The Orchard Project, which incubates and accelerates innovative new theatrical work from around the world.

The New Group has announced complete casting for The Sensuality Party, a new play by Justin Kuritzkes, presented as part of the company's 2015-2016 season. 

The New Group proudly presents The Sensuality Party as part of its 2015-2016 season. This New York premiere of a new play by Justin Kuritzkes was developed through The New Group's New Group/New Works play development program. Directed by Danya Taymor, this production will play 18 performances only at college campuses across all five boroughs of New York City, with venues including Brooklyn College, LaGuardia Community College, Gallatin School (New York University), Baruch College, Lehman College, Pace University NYC Campus, Pace University Westchester Campus and the College of Staten Island. 24 HOURS PLAYS ON BROADWAY, for Urban Arts Partnership and The 24 Hour Company, takes place tonight, November 16th, featuring a cast that includes John Krasinski and Traci Thoms.

BroadwayWorld has just learned that Kevin Daniels, best known for his award winning turn as Magic Johnson on Broadway in MAGIC/BIRD, has joined the cast of 24 HOURS PLAYS ON BROADWAY for Urban Arts Partnership and The 24 Hour Company.
