'The Smithsonian was so highly revered by my father, I wish he were here to share this moment with me,' says Susan Lucci, who joined Alex Trebek and Barney co-creators, Kathy and Phil Parker, as objects were added to the Smithsonian's permanent collections. On Thursday, May 9th, The National Museum of American History and The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS) announced a partnership that will secure that future generations will remember great moments in daytime television history.
