Centaur Theatre presents a provocative look into the intimate challenges within academia in the #MeToo era, with SEXUAL MISCONDUCT OF THE MIDDLE CLASSES, written by renowned playwright Hannah Moscovitch, and directed by Eda Holmes.

While even savvy New York theatregoers aren't able to keep up with everything in the city that never sleeps, hopefully after five opportunities to enter the ring with the wildly innovative and imaginative Japanese Theatre Company Kaimaku Pennant Race (KPR) from May 15-18th at Japan Society, they will become -- in Shakespeare's own words -- 'a household name' with Ashita no Ma-Joe: Rocky Macbeth.

Today's subject Matthew Bourne has done what some might say is impossible, making his theatre life quite the big deal. Bourne has managed to meld the worlds of classical dance and theatre together in his internationally acclaimed company New Adventures with some pretty terrific results. His latest creation, Cinderella, hits the stage of the Opera House at Kennedy Center on January 15 playing through the 20th.

MACBETH seems to be one of the most abused pieces from Williams Shakespeare's canon; yet, when a production does the show justice, it is incredibly spellbinding. Luckily for fans of the play and art of theatre in general, you'll be hard-pressed to find a more robustly magnificent production of the classic than NINAGAWA MACBETH.

Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts today announced its 2018 Mostly Mozart Festival, which will run July 12 to August 12.

Ninagawa Company's Macbeth introduced UK audiences to the theatre of Yukio Ninagawa 30 years ago and this epoch-making production is now reprised at the Barbican to celebrate the work of the late Japanese director.

Theatr Clwyd Artistic Director Tamara Harvey today announces the full casting for Edmond Rostand's Cyrano de Bergerac which also features new Welsh poetry from Twm Morys. Steffan Rhodri leads the all-Welsh company in the role of Cyrano, with Sara Lloyd-Gregory as Roxanne and Marc Rhys as Christian, alongside Wayne Cater, Steven Elliott, Victoria John, Rhys Parry Jones, Daniel Llewelyn-Williams, Gwawr Loader, Sion Pritchard, Aled Pugh, Simon Holland Roberts and Dafydd Llyr Thomas.

Nigel Redden, Director of Lincoln Center Festival, today announced the line-up for the 20th edition of the Festival, which runs from July 6 through August 2, 2015. The Festival will unfold in six venues on and off the Lincoln Center campus. Japan Society, as part of its Fall 2012/Spring 2013 Performing Arts Season, proudly presents Macbeth, a production of Shakespeare's play directed by and starring internationally acclaimed traditional kyogen actor and one of Japan's most celebrated stage, film and television stars, Mansai Nomura. This production of Macbeth plays two performances only at Japan Society (333 East 47th Street): Saturday, March 23 at 7:30pm and Sunday, March 24 at 5:00pm.

The Festival will unfold in seven venues on and off the Lincoln Center campus, including two major theater events on Governors Island-the North American premiere of Peter Stein's 12-hour marathon production of Dostoyevsky's The Demons (also known as The Possessed) and the North American premiere of Toneelgroep Amsterdam's production of Pier Paolo Pasolini's searing Teorema, adapted and staged by Ivo van Hove.
