Chicago Dance Crash and Artistic Director Jessica Deahr will go big with The Bricklayers of Oz, fit for all ages, playing at the Ruth Page Center for the Arts, 1016 N. Dearborn Ave., July 28-August 5. Opening Night is Friday, July 28th at 8pm. Bricklayers is conceived & choreographed by Deahr with original lyrics by Chicago rapper Al Tamper. The Bricklayers continue their collaboration with Collectif Masque (France) performing the English Language premiere of Frederic Fort?s comedic mask theatre adaptation of Stevenson?s classic macabre tale, The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. Ford?s adaptation is translated into English by Bricklayer Kyle Cadotte, and is directed by Bricklayer Patrick Goulding.
