Desert Theatreworks (DTW) starts its 2022-23 season with a bang — its production of J. Dietz Osborne's and Nate Eppler's farce, SOUTHERN FRIED NUPTIALS, is a must-see. It is hilariously written, fabulously staged, and brilliantly acted.

On August 21 at 7:00pm EST, current and past members of Leaders by Choice, a nonprofit youth leadership and performing arts organization, will gather in celebration of 25 years. Join them as they virtually honor artists and activists across the nation for 'Without Violence, We Rise - Celebrating 25 Years of Leaders By Choice.'

Theatre Workshop of Nantucket welcomes Kim Zimmer, Robert Newman, Olivia Howell and Grant Tambellini in Edward Albee's Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?, directed by Dan Foster. Is it just me or is everyone else amazed by how quickly 2016 seems to be moving - in a theatrical sense, at least - and what with Memorial Day Weekend upon us, we're gobsmacked (gobsmacked, I tell ya!) by the wide range of productions offered up by Tennessee theater companies this weekend. Included are Street Theatre Company's Assassins, Center for the Arts' 42nd Street down in Murfreesboro, Rumors out at Chaffin's Barn Dinner Theatre and the final performance of The Sparkley Clean Funeral Singers at Cumberland County Playhouse.
