Spruce Peak Performing Arts Center, in a unique partnership with regional racial justice organizations, presents Rhapsody in Black on November 7th at 7pm.  Rhapsody offers a prismatic look at life on the color line as Leland Gantt presents a poignant, engaging, and often hilarious travelogue through the psyche of the perpetual a?oeother.a??  This one-man show is directed by Oscar winner and American Theatre Hall-of-Famer Estelle Parsons.

On Thursday, November 7 at 7pm, Spruce Peak Performing Arts Center presents Rhapsody in Black, a powerful personal narrative on the subjects of racism, identity, and self-image.

TORUK - The First Flight is a show inspired by James Cameron's movie AVATAR, and created by Cirque du Soleil; it comes to London's O2 Arena in June. BroadwayWorld spoke to puppeteers Helen Day and Antony Antunes about the show.

NYC Parks' Art in the Parks program and First Street Green are delighted to announce the exhibition of Anthony Heinz May's public art installation Txiti Hìtkuk in First Park in Manhattan. This exhibition joins Rudy Shepherd's public art exhibition Black Rock Negative Energy Absorber and newly painted murals in First Park, located on Houston Street between 1st and 2ndAvenues. Heinz May's fragmented wooden sculpture, sited along the gravel pathway along the eastern end of the park, provides a contemporary reinterpretation of Manhattan trees. The exhibit is open to the public through March 2015.
