Infinity Theatre Company has cancelled its upcoming 2020 summer season.

Fresh after producing last summer's smash hit productions of ALMOST HEAVEN and MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET, Infinity Theatre Company will return to Annapolis with their first ever holiday cabaret.  

Infinity Theatre Education will bring another great Theatre For Young Audiences show to Annapolis after last year's sold-out production of JACK VS. RAPUNZEL: THE MUSICAL.

The Drama League (Executive Artistic Director, Gabriel Shelian-Shanks) gathers today for the 82nd Annual Drama League Awards Ceremony, hosted by 2016 Tony® Award-nominees, Zachary Levi (She Loves Me) and Megan Hilty (Noises Off), in the Broadway Ballroom at the Marriott Marquis Times Square (1535 Broadway). 

The 2016 Drama League Award Nominees for Outstanding Play, Outstanding Revival of a Play, Outstanding Musical, Outstanding Revival of a Musical, and the much-coveted Distinguished Performance Award were just announced this morning at Sardi's, by Aladdin stars Adam Jacobs, Courtney Reed and James Monroe Iglehart. BroadwayWorld has just learned that DAMES AT SEA will play its final performance at the Helen Hayes Theater (240 West 44th Street), Sunday January 3, 2016, at 3pm.  DAMES AT SEA will have played 32 preview and 85 regular performances, having opened Thursday, October 22, 2015.  

The first ever Broadway production of DAMES AT SEA will play its 100th performance on Broadway on Saturday, December 19th at 8pm.  In celebration of the critically acclaimed musical comedy set in 1933, tickets for the Saturday, December 19th 8pm performance will be $19.33.  You can purchase the specially priced $19.33 tickets only at the Helen Hayes Theatre box office on Saturday, December 19th from 10am till 8pm for that evening's performance.  Customers may purchase up to 8 tickets per person and should reference the code Dames 1933 or 100th Performance.

The first ever Broadway production of DAMES AT SEA will receive the honor of being filmed for the Theatre on Film and Tape Archive for the New York Public Library for the Performing Arts at Lincoln Center. The filming will take place during the Tuesday, December 15 performance.

The first Broadway production of DAMES AT SEA, beginning previews tomorrow, Thursday, September 24, will offer a student rush at the Helen Hayes Theatre box office, BroadwayWorld has confirmed. A limited number of $32 (inclusive of $2 facility fee) tickets will be available for each performance when the box office opens for that day's performance. Over 100 people mobbed the Helen Hayes Theatre, stopping traffic on West 44th Street for the box office opening of the musical comedy Dames at Sea yesterday, August 31. What caused the disturbance? Under the Broadway Theater's marquee, tap dancers were competing for a chance to tap on stage with the cast of Dames at Sea during a performance.

The original 1968 production of Dames at Sea launched the career of the young ingenue playing Ruby, Bernadette Peters.
