As Bri and Sheila begin to fabricate scenarios, their marriage comes under increasing strain. Joe Egg debuted in Glasgow and London in 1967, and premiered on Broadway in 1968. The 1985 Roundabout production starring James Dale and Stockard Channing won two Tony Awards
