Oak Park's Bellissima Opera returns to Village Players Theater with an all new program that includes a special guest appearance from the Fujima Ryu of Chicago. 'A Night of Opera and Song' will perform one weekend only on June 12th at 3:00 p.m. and June 13th at 7:00 p.m. at Village Players Theater.

A suburban struggle to keep sexual secrets destroys a family and the son who has discovered the sins of the father. As the talk unfolds each character is forced to make a decision on whether to use the truth to destroy the family or to begin again. The talk is not always black and white.

THE FUNERAL DIRECTOR'S WIFE, a new comedy by BETH GILLELAND and KATHLEEN DOUGLASS with live a cappella music, directed by RICHMOND SHEPARD, will run Tuesdays through Saturdays at 8:00 p.m. from June 9th through June 27th.
