Elizabeth Dugas BIO

Elizabeth heard her calling for the spotlight at a young age. She began dance training soon after walking in ballet, tap and acrobatics and later added jazz, modern, contemporary, hip-hop, jazz funk, theatre and more to her repertoire. A winner of numerous dance awards at regional and national competitions over the years, Elizabeth got her first taste of show business when asked to perform in the New York tour of the Off-Broadway show, Red Hot Broadway featuring greats B.J. Crosby, Eugene Fleming and Freda Payne. From there she continued her training at the University of Michigan on scholarship (dual degree in Dance and Communications). Upon graduating Elizabeth moved to the big apple to pursue a childhood dream that has since become a reality. While dancing remains her first love she has branched out into singing, modeling, acting and voiceover work as well, and has appeared in numerous industrials, commercials, music videos, company performances and musicals across the map. Professional Credits in NYC include numerous productions at The Metropolitan Opera, The Orion Experience & The Awesome 80s Prom (The Heathers U/S). Regionally: The Will Rogers Follies (Ensemble) & Red Hot Broadway (Ensemble). Over the next year she will be traveling the country with the first national tour of Bullets Over Broadway as a member of the Ensemble and Olive U/S. BWW Review: BULLETS OVER BROADWAY: Woody Allen's Roaring Twenties

BULLETS OVER BROADWAY brings Woody Allen's New Yorker sensibility to the seaside community of Ogunquit, Maine, along with a coterie of thugs, hoofers, show people, and one adorable pug. Based on Allen's and co-writer Douglas McGrath's 1994 film of the same name, the musical incorporates old songs from the 1920s to ground the madcap action in the era of prohibition, when bathtub gin and gangsters with pistols and fedoras were equally prevalent. Jeff Whiting recreates Susan Stroman's original direction and outstanding choreography, and the amazing ensemble dancers tilt and whirl with foot-stomping abandon that resonates through the Ogunquit Playhouse.
