William Anderson Saxophones, Clarinets, Flute
While earning his Bachelor's and Master's Degrees at the Juilliard School, William Anderson served on the teaching faculty of Juilliard's Music Advancment Program. He's acted in Hollywood movies, performed on Broadway, been interviewed on radio stations worldwide, and led performances at NYC's Blue Note, Jazz at Lincoln Center, and The Jacob Burns Center with the "Anderson Twins Jazz" ensemble. As a sideman, Mr. Anderson has recently appeared with the Lincoln Center and Village Vanguard Jazz Orchestras, Vince Giordano's Nighthawks, and the Jimmy Heath Big Band. Mr. Anderson co-produced and directed two off-Broadway shows with his twin brother Peter saluting Artie Shaw & The Dorsey Brothers at 59E59 Theaters, earning him a NY Times review as a "virtuoso on clarinet and saxophone."
