Theatre for Young America is presenting a new collection of "three" stories, TRIPLE PLAY TWO!, on tour this spring to area schools and daycare centers, as well as at the Wonderscope Children's Museum, 5700 King St., Shawnee, KS. The early childhood play will be on tour from February 19 thru May, 2015. TRIPLE PLAY TWO! is a live musical show geared for the youngest theatre-goers aged 2 and up. TRIPLE PLAY ONE, which includes stories of The Three Bears, The Three Pigs and The Little Kittens, has been popular with early childhood programs since 2007. It is also still available for touring.

Kansas City Rep's presentation of the Rodgers and Hammerstein musical Carousel, directed by Kyle Hatley, the theatre's associate artistic director, runs now through March 31, 2013. Coterie At Night presents Children of the Damned Corn, Oct. 13-30 at the newly renovated Just Off Broadway Theatre, 31st Street and Penn Valley Park (3051 Penn Valley Drive). This world premiere is written and directed by local theatre impresario Ron Megee.

U.S. Symphonic Premiere of CHILDREN OF EDEN plays the Kansas City Music Hall July 15-24. As a very special companion piece to the production, the producers will present an evening of the works of legendary CHILDREN OF EDEN songwriter Stephen Schwartz. This July 18th gala concert event will include musical performances from the multi-award winning author's entire body of works, including PIPPIN, GODSPELL and WICKED. The evening will feature some of Broadway's top talents, Kansas City theatre veterans and the composer himself.
