Misha Johnson

BIO

Misha Johnson attended the University of Colorado's BFA theatre performance conservatory. Misha is currently the Managing director of the Rochester Civic Theatre and the founder of Immersion Youth Repertory. She has resided in Colorado the past 16 years where she earned her Actors Equity card. Her directing credits include: The Addams Family, Shrek, The Syringa Tree, The Secret Comedy of Women, Romeo & Juliet, Les Miserbles, Honk, Legally Blonde, and Into The Woods. She holds performing credits with the Colorado Shakespeare Festival, Denver Center for the Performing Arts, Curious Theatre, Stories on Stage, Aurora Fox, Theatreworks, The Wolf Theatre Academy, and Arvada Center. Johnson is also singer/songwriter, author, and professional voiceover actress. She was a member of the Bug Children's Theater Series. A historical enactor with the Denver Museum of Nature and Science and a lead actor and teacher with the Denver Children's Theater, Aurora's Little Foxes. She is a founding member of Immersion Youth Repertory in Rochester Minnesota.

Lilly is an exuberant young mouse facing all-too-familiar issues at home and in school. Although she courageously stands up to bullies and delights in teaching her friends to spell backwards, Lilly still needs to learn important lessons about family, friendship and forgiveness. Through clever dialogue, fast-paced scenes, realistic characters, and yes, even cheese, the award-winning playwright Kevin Kling creates an entertaining and insightful tale.
