Mimi Johnson was born in the Bronx, NY and now resides in Atlanta, GA. She has traveled the world gracing stages with her powerful voice, engaging rhymes, and captivating stage presence. She has packed out many venues world wide with Hiphop ~ Soul group Caustic Dames, where she performs as the lead vocalist.


She is also tagged & known as "THE TRIPLE THREAT!" in the theater & entertainment industry.

MUSIC & ENTERTAINMENT is her true gift and she stops at NOTHING to share it with the World! Mimi Johnson is "THE TRIPLE THREAT!" & she inspires all true lovers of real music and entertainment fulfilling the void of music & vocals of the grown women in the music industry. In 2009, Mimi released her first solo project entitled "WOMAN".

She is currently working on her second solo CD release entitled "SOCIAL BUTTERFLY" My Mothers Songs, featuring the compositions of Jazz and Blues World Renowned Vocalist and Composer, Diva Joan Cartwright, her solo sophomore CD is destined for platinum success. EL/AFICIONADO Comes to New York Live Arts

Performing Artservices, Inc. will present a new production of eL/Aficionado by the late American composer Robert Ashley, to take place at New York Live Arts, May 21-24, 2020. Written in 1987 and last performed in 1995, eL/Aficionado (72 minutes) is an opera scored for four voices and an orchestra of electronic instruments. Mezzo-soprano Kayleigh Butcher will sing the lead role of the Agent, a part originally written for baritone (Thomas Buckner). The other vocalists are Bonnie Lander, Paul Pinto, and Brian McCorkle. Music direction and sound design are by Tom Hamilton, and lighting and stage design are by David Moodey.

The Magic of Christmas Magic Show starring World Champion Illusionist Wayne Alan will appear live on stage this Saturday and next Friday and Saturday at the Historic North Theatre in Danville, VA. It is an exciting yet heart warming magic and illusion show themed around Christmas. This holiday show which is full of family fun has not only amazing magic but also great music, including many of your favorite sacred and secular holiday songs. Add lots of good clean comedy to the show, and you have the perfect family entertainment. Christianity, the real meaning of Christmas is woven throughout the show. For the first time this year and soon to become a Danville tradition, the show will close with the theatre's classic portrayal of the nativity live on stage. The production is inspired by the famous Christmas show at Radio City Music Hall in New York City.

Disney's Aladdin Jr. will be presented at The Historic North Theatre in Danville, VA on Friday, October 4th (8:00pm), Saturday, October 5th (8:00pm) and Sunday, October 6th (3:00pm Matinee). Aladdin, Jr. is a bright, fast-paced, fun-filled show for the whole family. The Academy award-winning score includes favorite songs and offers audiences a chance to "enjoy the choral melodies of 'Arabian Nights' and 'Prince Ali'; to watch as Aladdin and Princess Jasmine escape from the evil Jafar in 'One Jump Ahead,' and as they fall in love with 'A Whole New World'; and to laugh and sing along as the Genie transforms Aladdin in 'A Friend Like Me.'" Under the direction of Mimi Grubb, the show features music by Alan Menken and lyrics by Howard Ashman and Tim Rice. Tickets are $15.00 for adults and $8.00 for children 12 and under.
