The Residuals, a leading webseries about the complexities of commercial auditions, today announced the debut of their second season of the acclaimed webseries of the same name.

Season 2 of the hit web-comedy THE RESIDULAS will debut exclusively on BroadwayWorld on June, 16th. The show, from husband and wife team Michael Paul Smith and Gillian Pensavalle, takes a look at the funny, often times bizarre, world of commercial auditions. In addition to the entire first season cast returning, Season 2 will feature guest stars Horatio Sanz (SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE), Jenna Leigh Green (WICKED, SABRINA THE TEENAGE WITCH), and Michael Torpey (LATE NIGHT WITH JIMMY FALLON, hundreds of commercials). 

Last week, Michael Paul Smith and Gillian Pensavalle, the co-creators and stars of BroadwayWorld's newest webseries partnership THE RESIDUALS were guests on the popular podcast New York Cine Radio. The husband-and-wife pair talk about the upcoming second season, joining the BWW family, and the new BREAKING BAD prequel, BETTER CALL SAUL!

After a successful KickStarter campaign, the hit web comedy THE RESIDUALS has wrapped on its second season, which will debut exclusively on BroadwayWorld early in 2015. The series, created by and starring husband and wife Michael Paul Smith and Gillian Pensavalle, focuses on the unusual world of auditioning for commercials. It's the perfect time to catch up with 'The Residuals,' the hilarious New York City based comedic web series set in the world of television commercials and auditions. Created by and starring husband-and-wife team Michael Paul Smith and Gillian Pensavalle, 'The Residuals' is inspired by their experiences as actors auditioning for commercials in New York City. Season One episodes average about 7 minutes and give viewers an inside view at the bizarre world of auditions, callbacks, costume fittings and commercial shoots. The second season of the critically acclaimed comedy series' is coming soon to BroadwayWorld.com!

One of the highlights of this spring for me has been stumbling across the hysterical new webseries, THE RESIDUALS, and through social media, connecting with its creators. I have been fortunate enough to talk to many of the show's cast members for BWW articles (I will put links at the end of this one). I recently spoke to Nick Costa, who plays main character Pete's roommate Keith, about his experience with THE RESIDUALS and his own webseries THE COFFEE SHOP SHOW.
