Julia Wade Biography
Singer and actress Julia Wade has been hailed by critics as “the female equivalent of Josh Groban.” Julia has performed internationally in concerts, opera, and musical theatre, including The Rome Opera and Carnegie Hall. Most recently, Julia performed the leading role of Red in the West Coast Premiere of THE PEOPLE IN THE PICTURE, book and lyrics by Iris Rainer Dart, Music by Mike Stoller and Artie Butler.In New York, Julia starred in IS ANYBODY LISTENING? at the Sheen Center’s Loreto Theater. Other New York credits include performances in KING OF HEARTS with Musicals Tonight as well as headlining at The Watchfire Music Listening Room for several seasons.. Julia was featured at the Rome Opera and the Massimo Theater, Italy in Kurt Weill's LADY IN THE DARK.
Highlights of other stage credits include Guinevere (CAMELOT), The White Witch (NARNIA, a musical version of THE LION, THE WITCH AND THE WARDROBE.), Papagena (THE MAGIC FLUTE) , Despina (COSI FAN TUTTE), and Kate Pinkerton, (MADAMA BUTTERFLY).
As a recording artist, Julia has no less than 13 solo CDs under her belt. November 2017 marked the release of her 13th solo CD, SUNDAY MORNING, an album of 13 inspirational songs composed by Peter Link as well as the Live Concert album of IS ANYBODY LISTENING?
Musical Cast albums include Julia’s work on Sundown, (Book and Lyrics by Joe Bravaco and Larry Rosler with Music by Peter Link) as well as Brad Ross’ musical adaptation of CUSTARD THE DRAGON.
As a concert artist, Julia tours her concerts all over the United States, taking her audiences on an inspirational journey which has been described as “evocative” and “beautifully entertaining all the while your soul is being nourished!"

? The Sheen Center for Thought & Culture (18 Bleecker Street) announces the fall and winter programming of their 2016-2017 season.
